Modern day slavery exists in many forms, most commonly occurring in one of three categories: sex-trafficking, forced servitude, and child-soldiering. All forms of slavery use deception, threats or violence to coerce or exploit someone to do something against their will for little or no pay. Women and children in impoverished environments are particularly vulnerable to being trafficked.
Venture partners with organizations and leaders that understand that in order to end modern day slavery, we must address legal, economic, and spiritual factors that factor into the widespread nature of this evil.
There are an estimated 45 million people held in slavery today.
Human Trafficking generates about $150 Billion a year.
Over 2 million children are exploited in the global commercial sex trade.
